Episode 121 – Clash! The Protector vs The Bearer

Despite raising their power to the limit, Hitsugaya, Rangiku and Renji find they couldn’t meet up to their battle expectation against the opponents. They finally choose to retrieve and return to their base. Meanwhile, the fight between Grimmjow and Ichigo continues. The level of power Grimmjow has, allowed him to fight Ichigo with just barehanded. Ichigo knows he couldn’t continue the battle with that, so he uses his getsuga tensho but awake the inner hollow of Grimmjow. Grimmjow wants to end the battle and kill Ichigo with the release of zanpakuto but suddenly Kaname Tosen arrives.

The main purpose of Tosen arrival is to bring Grimmjow back to the base – Hueco Mundo because he has violated the plan by Aizen by attacking the real world.
