When the Soul Reaper arrived, Ichigo was then carried off by Hanatarō and Ganju. Renji is heavily injured after the last battle with Ichigo. He is then imprisoned by his captain, Byakuya Kuchiki.

On the other hand, the Soul Reaper is giving high command orders to maximize the war against the intruders. Momo Hinamori (the 5th division lieutenant) discovered the dead body of Sōsuke Aizen hanging from a tower, during her way to the lieutenants’ meeting.
