Episode 38 – Desperation! The Broken Zangetsu

Shunsui decided to lock up Chad instead of just killing him in that way. In another place, Ichigo is trying to escape as Kenpachi’s power is too overwhelming and threatened him. Ichigo knew that the mission is too important for him, and he must find some resolution to face with Kenpachi.

After struggling some time, he managed to cut Kenpachi. Nevertheless, he is too overconfident but never though of that he is actually not mastered his zanpakutō yet. This is giving Kenpachi the chance and he breaks Ichigo’s zanpakutō easily.
